Please read the information below before completing your registration.
Before You Register
✅ Every player must complete their own registration.
✅ Players under 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian.
✅ New junior players may be required to provide proof of age (birth certificate or passport).
Registration Fees & Payments
We offer a range of payment options to make registration easy for everyone.
Payment Options
You can choose to:
💳 Pay in full by credit or debit card (via Stripe) during online registration.
💳 Make a partial payment during online registration.
🏦 Pay by internet banking after completing your registration.

Please use the player's name as your payment reference.
Payment Deadlines
Registration fees must be paid in full by 31 December 2026.
If you are not paying in full at registration, a part payment must be received by 8 October 2026 to secure your place in a team.
Payment Plans

Conditions:
Regular weekly or fortnightly payments must begin by 8 October 2026.
Payments must continue as agreed throughout the season.
Payment plans that remain up to date will not incur late payment fees.
Late Payments
Any registration fees still unpaid after 31 December 2026 will incur a 10% late payment fee per month, starting from 1 January 2027.
This fee helps cover administration and debt recovery costs.
Refunds
Registration fees are generally non-refundable.
Refund requests due to injury or exceptional circumstances may be considered by the Howick Softball Club Executive Committee.

Family Discounts
👨👩👧👦 Third (or subsequent) junior child plays FREE*
*Applies to the lowest registration fee within the family.
Coaching Discounts
Want to coach? We appreciate the time and commitment our coaches give to our players.
Eligible coaches may receive:
Senior player coaching a junior team: $40 registration refund.
Parent coach who is not a senior player: $40 discount off their child's registration.
Two coaches sharing a team: $20 discount each.
Conditions:
Playing More Than One Team?
Players registering for multiple teams will receive a reduced fee structure.
You will pay:
Under 17 and above: Higher registration fee + $40 levy.
Under 15 and below: Lower registration fee + $40 levy.
Three teams: Highest registration fee + $40 for each additional team.
Uniform Information
Rookie Sox, Tee Ball & Flexi Ball
The club provides a playing shirt and pants for all in-house players for the season.
Travelling Teams (Under 12s and Above)
The club supplies the playing shirt only.
Players are required to purchase their own softball pants before the season begins.

Please ensure the correct style of softball pants is purchased for game day.
All club uniforms remain the property of Howick Softball Club and must be returned clean and in good condition at the end of the season.
Lost or damaged uniforms (outside of normal wear and tear) may incur replacement costs.
Transfers
Players transferring from another club may be required to pay Auckland Softball transfer fees where applicable.
Social Club Membership
Parents of junior players automatically become social members of the club.
Social membership provides access to club facilities and activities.
Please note:
Social membership does not include voting rights at Annual General Meetings unless the member is also a full-paying junior family member or registered competition player.
Voting rights apply in accordance with the club constitution.
